Here, the door is closed
And the whole world comes in.

Not just the trees in front of the window come in

All the trees come in.Not just the people I know come in

All the people come in.

Not just the emotions that I have so far let in

All the emotions come in.
The whole of humanity comes in
And everything that makes us human
comes in and is internalised.
The earth comes in,
And the sky, too
In the majesty of their wholeness.

The light of sunset, The light of sunrise and the light of wonder.

Lights and shadows and their opposites.

Continents and cities and all who inhabit them.

The wild animals and the delicate animals.

Rivers and streams and all that stream through them.
The sea and its fullness.
 

At night I dream of the letter Vav
And send it into a space of love.
Things come together on their own
And unite on their own
And I connect with them.
I am a friend of the connections.
The mere connection to the circle
Encompasses everything and includes everything
And everything comes together
Everything comes together
And the allness
And the allness
In this aloneness
Is a wonder
And the door is closed.
